I wish I could have gain more responsibilities, but that comes with time.
Advice
Look into starting a business if you have the drive to do it. You never know what you may enjoy doing.

I loved being included as part of the family. I also got a lot of experience as being a pseudo-mother - helping with potty training, nap time, pacifier weaning, and errands.

Be willing to ask for help and advice from others. There are so many people with more experiences than you - take advantage of that.

What I liked
The internship in Spain was fantastic. I was at the hospital for at least 8 hours a day, 4-5 days a week. I was able to shadow and work with doctors, something that has set me on course for a future in medicine. It made me realize I love medicine.

I enjoyed my apprenticeship most because of how flexible and relaxed the relationship was. Apprenticeship also allowed me to learn a wide range of skills, even some outside of the work that we did primarily.
