Journeyman Meat Cutter:
We are seeking full-time Journeyman Meat Cutters !
As an experienced Meat Cutter, you will bring with you knowledge in retail cutting techniques for all meat and seafood cuts, proficiency with the saw and creative merchandising techniques. This position requires employees to meet daily production needs and quality standards in meat cutting and preparation. All employees display product in a fresh and appealing manner throughout the department. They process fresh and frozen products. Each employee packages, prepares trays, weighs and labels packages, rotates product and removes out-of-code date products. Employees also sanitize work areas in accordance with company standards and health department regulations.

Our produce department offers the freshest and tastiest fruit and vegetables from local, domestic and foreign growing regions. As a produce team member, you will be knowledgeable about everyday produce, seasonal offerings and exotic species and able to enthusiastically suggest items to customers accordingly. Each employee receives produce deliveries, builds and maintains creative and fresh displays and rotates stock as needed. They inspect displays for damaged or out-of-date items and remove such products from sale. They prepare product for placement on sales floor by trimming, washing, banding and/or wrapping. Each employee maintains a clean department including, floors, tables, scales, mirrors, and both wet and dry racks.
