Monday through Thursday I was paired with a local non-profit, Options & Advocacy, where I got to take part in all the departments and some of the behind the scenes of non-profit work. Then on Fridays we had formal leadership training with LGMC where we covered a variety of topics all priming us for leadership positions in the non-profit sector. Each week they would bring in a different professional pertaining to the topic we were focusing on to give us real life exposure to the content we were learning. ”
