About Danbury Westerners Baseball Club

College Summer League Baseball. Member of the New England Collegiate Baseball League since 1995. 29 former Westerners have reached the major leagues. An additional 250 former Westerners have played in the minor leauges.

We are a 501(c)3 not for profit organization that offers internship opportunities to college and high school students with an interest in the business and operational aspects of sports. These include game day operations, journalism, fan experience, analytics, broadcasting and more.

Former Westerner interns are currently employed in sports related positions by the New York Yankees, New York Mets, Carolina Hurricanes, New York Islanders, Bridgeport Islanders, Danbury Hat Tricks, MLB, NFL, ESPN, NBC Sports, CBS Sports, Wesleyan University, University of North Alabama, Worcester Red Sox, Modesto Nuts, Lake Elsinore Storm, IMG Academy, WPGH Fox 53 Pittsburgh, Kirkman Broadcasting and more.
