I was happy to find a job in the field I am looking at working in. It was an absolute joy working with my campers, and further my exposure to people with special needs. This job helped me to see that I am in the right field, and that my education is important to be able to further my involvement in this particular field.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have had more leadership opportunities. This is something I would like to work on more.
Advice
Ask for help! I learned how to evaluate what I could accomplish on my own, but the best lesson I learned and the advice I would give to anyone is that you must speak up for yourself, you’ll never know how far you can move up or grow unless you do.
