Extremely flexible over the pandemic. Allowed me to work remotely from a different time zone. Encouraged self-directed learning and working. Fostered professional development (communication, time management). Good mix of complex, interesting projects, and non-stressful day to day activities.
What I wish was different
Role was fairly new to the company so tasks were often loosely defined, however this gave a lot of freedom. Management transition occurred halfway through which was slightly disruptive, but brought with it a more clearly defined set of projects, so was ultimately a good thing.
Advice
Always make an effort to communicate effectively, especially with technical subjects. If you have an idea, develop a prototype.
