I loved the other employees and the NGO's mission. I was very passionate about the work I was doing which made the experience very rewarding. Furthermore, I learned more about sustainability topics that I am interested in, which was a very nice way to combine two of my interests, sustainability and marketing.
What I wish was different
The only thing I wish I could change would be working at a larger organization. Because of the small size of the organization, a large portion of my work was independent, and at a larger organization, I would have the opportunity to do more collaborative work.
Advice
I would say that make sure that you stay organized, and set goals and deadlines for yourself.
