Integrated Solutions Co-op
January 2019 • Newnan, GA
What I liked
There were many other co-ops at this company to work with, and many of the co-ops worked in different areas. Working with these other co-ops and getting experience from all the different departments and areas at YCA made this co-op one of my best working experiences.
What I wish was different
Some of the work was a bit tedious, but being a co-op means doing some of the tedious work so the higher level engineers can innovate, and understanding that fact will help a lot.
Advice
Be prepared to branch out from the major or concentration you plan to research. While a large focus of your co-op will be your concentration, the extra details that you can learn about from the other groups at YCA will be invaluable in every area, not just at YCA, but in any engineering application.
