Our mission is to foster joy, literacy, and critical thinking in children and teens from all backgrounds through creative writing. Writopia Lab is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization that runs creative writing workshops for writers ages six to 18.
Founded in New York City in 2007, Writopia Lab has grown into a national community of young writers ages six to 18. We have locations throughout the New York City; Washington, DC; Los Angeles; and San Francisco Bay Area regions. We also work online wiht young writers around the country and the world.
