Each intern got to focus on one area in the operations department and got an in-depth experience in that area. They gave me a lot to do and made me feel like I was making a contribution! Everyone was helpful and wanted me to succeed.

What I liked
The company culture was great. The intern program is still in its early stages, but we were able to sit down with the heads of various departments and hear their stories, which was great for networking.
What I wish was different
We were scheduled to attend a cadaver lab, but never actually got to.
Advice
Go out on a limb and reach out to those who can help you advance in your future career, even if it’s unrelated to your current position!
