What I liked
I had an incredible mentor and manager who helped me learn the stack and agile process. The work was very hands on, allowing me to take an active role on a dev team. Occasionally there were development talks that were given to familiarize interns with their eventual careers, give advice, talk about the company, and the experiences of past interns who are now employed with the company. I also appreciated the companies initiative to give back to the community through a hackathon meant to benefit local schools and incorporating volunteer work. Overall I though WP Engine had a great company culture and highly recommend an internship here.
