What I liked

I like the flexibility they offered and the numerous opportunity to view what it is they do outside of the office. I also enjoyed being with my fellow interns who made each day memorable.

What I wish was different

I love my experience but if I were to change one thing it would be to do more business related tasks taht had to do with my major.

Advice

Do not be afraid to ask questions when you need help and keep in constant contact with your Supervisor to ensure a successful experience.

What I liked

I enjoyed my time at WBC because I was passionate about the mission. Their values are exhibited in their actions. I gained a better understanding on how to build strong communities by improving the relationships between people, institutions, government, and corporations. The leadership is supportive of interns and I was given access to high level projects, rather than busy work.

What I wish was different

The only thing about this experience that I would change would be that I was there 5 days a week instead of 3.

Advice

For any job my advice would be to always save a job descriptions and expectations that are given to you at the beginning of an internship or provided in a job post. If your duties stray from that description and you find yourself unhappy you can use this as evidence that you should be working on other work that is more aligned with your passions and the agreed upon expectations.
