What I liked
I was able to compare healthcare from a developed country to an under developed third world country. My critical thinking skills were put to the test and I was really able to challenge myself as a person.
What I wish was different
I wish I experienced more of the units at the hospital.
Advice
I highly encourage everyone to try an experience that it completely out of their comfort zone and to become comfortable with the uncomfortable.

What I liked
I absolutely loved this program and opportunity. I got to work in many different units and see many things I would not normally see at home. I also got to do a lot of skills.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have had more time and more communication with the specific Zambia program manager.
Advice
I would say to take the chance and go on something like this! It is very eye-opening and really interesting to learn about a different culture through a medical lens.
