Woodside is a great place to work and gain dietary experience. Night shift hours are easy to work during school. You get a chance to work in several dining rooms and make connections with many residents. I gained a lot of experience in food service and clinical skills that will help me in the future.
What I wish was different
Holiday scheduling can be tough if your family is not in the area but sometimes coworkers are willing to trade and help you out.
Advice
If you think you aren’t qualified enough for a certain position, just apply anyway. Have confidence!
