Advice
Starting off on the right foot was essential- being nice to coworkers, helping where needed, being assertive in what you know or don’t know; establishing hospitality to all patrons and hands-on to learning new tasks. The job wasn’t hard itself, there’s lots of flexibility, but the leadership and circulation team make it amazing.
Everyone is already so nice and willing to teach you what you need to know, so don’t ruin it! And take the time you have to read more/get more on your reading list!
