The people were amazing, the work was fun, and I learned so much! We got to do more than what I thought we would, and the staff is very willing to teach you new skills. The intern housing was a blast, and I made lifelong memories and friends!

Advice
Put in the work. It's not easy, but it's rewarding and fun if you have a good attitude. The harder you work, the more time you'll have to do extra/fun things.

What I liked
I love the area, it is beautiful. It also has many learning opportunities, such as working with the DNR and helping with kids activities.
What I wish was different
I wish it had been longer! I loved it out there.
Advice
Be open minded -- there are so many possibilities if you just keep your eyes open to all you can learn and experience.
