The people were very patient, kind, and great at taking in interns and teaching them.

Not much! It was a great place to be.
Advice
Be prepared for occasional late nights or early morning and the drive to Grand Rapids if you’re not local! Be kind to and patient with everyone and it will be recognized in great ways!

What I liked
I liked being able to follow reporters to see how they conducted interviews and researched their stories. Also, I had no prior experience with broadcast journalism, and I loved being able to watch the producers put together the news shows.
