I loved the flexibility of working around my schedule of classes. The staff and students were welcoming and fun to interact with and always kept me entertained.

I wish I would have started sooner during my WKU journey. This opportunity has been wonderful and provided me with so many new friendships.

What I liked
I love the family like support that I receive from everyone on the WKU-O campus. I also love the flexibility for my internships and classes. Being a single mom this is so important, I am able to juggle classes, work, and my kiddos without worrying about having to work nights or weekends.
What I wish was different
I would not have changed a thing about the time I have worked here.
Advice
Use this time to build relationships and network. You never know who is going to be a great resource or reference in the future !

What I liked
I like the patrons that come in to the fitness center the most. They are usually hardworking, driven people who are looking to improve their lives. I enjoy talking to them and making long lasting friendships.
What I wish was different
I would love to train people more, as I am a personal trainer as well. But clients are harder to come by than I like.
Advice
This is a great job if you are outgoing and social, because you are talking to all kinds of college students and WKU personnel.
