What I liked
I enjoyed the experience of interacting with business owners and meeting new people. This location opened up in April so the branch is still new. I like that I was able to begin my banking career at an early stage. This Job kept me busy throughout the summer which is a great thing. I was able to attend networking events and even hosting events.
What I wish was different
I can't think of anything that could be different. I would say that I had a very productive summer.
Advice
The one piece of advice I would give is to take everything day by day. Everything is a learning process.

What I liked
I liked the experience and being involved in another area of a relatively large chicago bank. I was able to not only see the technology, but through on-site reviews of technology equipment at corporate offices and community banks, I was able to see how various banks operate.
What I wish was different
A lot of my work was very repetitive and it didn't feel like I used my skills or education in my work.
Advice
I would make sure to get an experience that will expose you to other departments and other areas outside of your role, and to also ask ask them your responsibilities and what skills are required for the role in order to determine if it is something you are going to be interested in and if that it will be the appropriate level of challenge.

What I liked
I liked that I got to work with customers every day.
What I wish was different
I wanted to use my math/quantitative degree more! I did not really have to use my brain during my internship which was painful
Advice
I would advise future interns to be okay with not loving their positions! This is how they'll learn what they want/do not want to do in the future
