I learned about the health insurance system. I got to interact with different types of patients and bring a smile to their day. Patients were always calling so I always had something to do.
What I wish was different
I wish I did not have a role where I sat down at a desk all day looking at a computer in a room without windows.
Advice
Be kind to people, they are probably just having a bad day and taking it out on the receptionist but stay calm and positive and you could actually help the patient. Also I now know I never want to work a desk job if I can not get up and move every so often.
