WCS: A Leader in Academic Achievement
Williamson County Schools (WCS) is one of two public school districts located in Williamson County, Tennessee. WCS continues to be a leader in the State in academic achievement.
WCS has approximately 42,000 students enrolled in Pre-K - 12 for the 2022-2023 school year. There are 50 schools: 11 high schools, 11 middle schools, 27 elementary schools, and one K-8 school. The district’s graduating class of 2021 posted an ACT composite score of 24.9, which is well above the State’s average composite score of 19.1. WCS ranks first in Tennessee among districts with more than one high school.
