The best part was working with people that have the same passion and drive as you. That is extremely important when working with animals. Mistakes can injure you or the animals. I also loved working with all kinds of local species from possums to birds to raptors.
What I wish was different
Nothing, I enjoyed my experience and made great friends.
Advice
I would apply during the summer when it is more busy so you can get more experience working with different species of wildlife.

I loved the experiences I got from this internship and that fact that I was able to learn so much in terms of wildlife veterinary medicine and animal handling and care.
