Wildlife Care Association (WCA) is a non-profit, volunteer-based wildlife rehabilitation organization working to rescue and rehabilitate wildlife in the greater Sacramento area since 1975. WCA is permitted by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to care for wildlife. WCA is one of the largest rehabilitation centers in CA and provides medical care to over 7,000 sick, injured, or orphaned wildlife every year. We provide this service with the help of trained staff, volunteers, and local veterinarians, with the goal of releasing as many healthy animals back into the wild as possible
