Whittle School & Studios is a startup seeking to build the first truly modern, global network of K-12 co-educational independent schools. Our first two campuses, Washington, DC and Shenzhen, China, will open in September 2019.
Our team is comprised of innovators in science, design, technology, arts, and human learning, applying their diverse talents to engineer education from the ground up. We seek talented educators in teaching, leadership, and student support roles to join our team. Each campus will be comprised of four divisions: Early Learning; Lower School; Middle School; and Upper School, serving students in Preschool through Grade 12.
We have created Whittle Studios, our extra-hours programs for the next global citizens of this fast-changing world. Our boldest idea is that Studios is open to all. Our Extra-Hours programs for students are available from preschool to age 18 and provide exploration of provocative topics such as Global Storytelling, Makerspace and Robotics, Young Scientists, Exercise for Healthy Body and Mind, Dance and Performance, Global Arts, and a variety of niche sports.
The hiring process for our Washington, DC and Shenzhen, China campuses is underway, with employment beginning on July 1, 2019.
We will be receiving applications for instructor positions at our Studios locations starting April 15, 2019.
