“I’ve never taken a marketing or business class in my life before this internship. But after only a couple of months, I was running an entire ambassador program in Charleston! Without ever taking a class in any of these fields, I’ve worked with: social media marketing, email marketing, graphic design, advertising, brand management, consumer behavior, copywriting, leading teams, organizing sponsored events, sales pitching, cold calling, blogging, and so much more. All of my stress about getting my degree and a decent job in Communications (minor in Marketing) is gone, because anything that’ll show up on a exam or job interview, I’ve already done at least 3 times in the real-world!”
