I really enjoyed getting to know people in the community. I'm not from the area, so this internship really helped me get out and about and understand more about community needs as well as the services that businesses offer here.
What I wish was different
I would have liked to shadow people more.
Advice
You need be able to handle being told "no" when cold calling and understand that it's nothing against you personally.
