The staff at both WNE and the elementary school I worked at were extremely kind and understanding about work hours and academic priorities!
What I wish was different
I only wish that I had brought my car to campus to drive to work but otherwise my experience was amazing!
Advice
To work with the kids you have to be able to remain professional with the kids. Friendly gestures may not be perceived as just friendly by parents so it's important to just be there as a helping hand not as a best friend. If you are easily overwhelmed I wouldn't recommend this job since you could be helping multiple kids.
