What I liked
I really enjoyed the work experience that I was provided in this job. I had the opportunity to work with a number of different coworkers, as well as formed close relationships with the managing staff. I also got to work with a variety of participants at my camp programs, and gained good experience in the field for my future career goals as an occupational therapist.
What I wish was different
I wish the job had provided a more consistent work schedule for a larger portion of the summer.
Advice
For me, I found it most beneficial to get involved with as many different programs and camps as I could. This allowed me to not only get the number of hours that I wanted, but also helped diversify the experience I got by working with a large number of different participants, and engage in different work environments with varying tasks and requirements.
