I loved my position at West Virginia State University. I helped to create an environment where students felt welcome. Through the planning and coordination, we created events to get students out of their dorms and engaging with other students.
What I wish was different
I wish that I could have spent more time there. I was only able to spend 8 weeks there because I studied abroad before hand.
