The guys were really cool guys to work with! They would some times call me "The New Guy", "The Intern", or "The Newbie" every so often but this was all part of their welcoming process :). The team invited me to go out with them for breakfast before work, dinner after work, etc. Both off the clock and on the clock dynamics was really awesome.
What I wish was different
Be not shy about making mistakes.
Advice
Ask questions and don't be shy about it. There are people who's been in the industry for easily over +25 years and they'll offer you a lot of guidance if you seek them out. Do also keep in mind that when you ask questions you do your do diligence to do your research/homework beforehand - they'll know if you ask out of laziness or if you've done your part to reach a certain level of understanding.
