What I liked

I loved the fast pace learning and the constant challenges I was faced with. I also enjoyed sitting in on team, and company meetings. This helped me get a better idea of overall team and company goals, and how these were being achieved outside of the internship program.

What I wish was different

Towards the beginning of the internship, there were about 4 weeks of personally learning and research time. This is somewhat due to there being a couple vacancies within the team, and the intern schedule was set back because of this. I wish there would have been a better plan set in place for the interns to move along with their projects, even if there were some unexpected events to start the summer like there were.

Advice

Be prepared to be learning along with your mentor! There are always new projects, meaning sometimes even your bosses or mentors won't know the most efficient way to get things done. Prepare to be challenged daily.
