I loved working with people different interests and lifestyles, some of my coworkers became my best friends. I learned so much about a new field and they were so willing to teach me and let me experiment. My bosses were lenient and took into consideration all of our needs and schedules. A great overall experience!
What I wish was different
I would have liked to have gotten small raises or bonus opportunities throughout the summer.
Advice
You have to be ready to work! it hot outside!! Having good customer service is also a great quality. You have potential to interact with angry customers so have be ready for anything.

What I liked
Job was very flexible with other activities, boss and coworkers were very friendly, I learned a little bit more about the water industry
What I wish was different
No complaints, it’s a good internship and pays well for the work you do.
Advice
Wear lots of sunscreen, and wear sandals since it’s likely you’ll get wet. I worked a lot with other people’s irrigation systems so getting wet is a given.

What I liked
I liked working in the garden and teaching people how to conserve water.
What I wish was different
I wish that I could have done more work in the garden or taught more. It was not as challenging as I would have liked and I felt discriminated against by my coworkers and superiors.
Advice
Know how much you are worth and don't stick something out if it looks to be a waste of time.
