What I liked the most about my internship was the abundance of work I had everyday, as well as talking to suppliers and customers everyday regarding orders, contracts, and scheduling agreements.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have had the opportunity to work more on the plant floor itself, rather than be stuck in the office.
Advice
Be prepared to work more than the 40 hour standard week. For a company like mine, there was a ton of work to be done for a busy summer. Show up and be willing to work and learn, and a full time offer is sure to follow.
