My manager and supervisor were very approachable, which alleviated the high stress environment of working at Sunset Bar and Grill. It was also nice to work among friends and make new friends at a very beautiful location on Long Island Sound.
What I wish was different
I wish that the upper management had a better understanding of how understaffed we were in the kitchen. This made the cooks' jobs a lot more difficult and in turn made mine more difficult and frustrating as well.
Advice
Don't try to change how upper management works around here. They will not listen. Just come in, do your job, collect your checks, and move on.
