I got great visibility over both the industry and the company; and I got to complete value adding work by the end of my internship. Great company, office, and team culture
What I wish was different
I would have liked a more intense learning phase so that once I started working I had a stronger initial understanding of the industry.
Advice
Approach the role with an open mind! A lot of Development's projects are very long run, so you may be jumping in at the beginning, middle, or end and doing completely different things project to project.

What I liked
Being able to work with different departments. Opportunities to work on certain projects with in the departments. Open communication with the staff. As an intern, I was treated as an employer. The company listened to my interests, major and what I wanted to get out of the internship. There are many locations at which you can intern at.
What I wish was different

Advice
Go in with an open mind. The employers don't expect you to know everything and they are willing to help you out along the way. The more that you are willing to do within the internship the more that you will get out of it. The program that is set up for interns allows them to understand the background and different departments of the company. Many networking opportunities.

What I liked
I learned more than I thought I would during an internship. I was treated as an equal among the employees. Everyone was more than willing to help me learn and succeed during my internship. Never once did I go into a day not feeling like my opinion didn't matter. Great way of networking. I learned about all of the positions within the corporation and company of where my internship was based. This experience was very hands on and being able to work with a great team made it all the better.
What I wish was different
I would not have changed a thing!
Advice
Just go in with an open mind. The people that you are going to work with are not going to expect you to know everything and are more than willing to help you learn during your time at the internship. I have learned so much about the company along with myself. Being able to work with such great people made my experience that more enjoyable. I looked forward to each day during my internship. I am greatly considering doing another internship with this company and at the same location.
