Everyone was very inclusive and truly wanted you to succeed. They made you feel like a real full time employee and fully integrated me as part of the team. Absolutely great culture and I was a fan of the “lattice” structure.
What I wish was different
I wish they held more workshops and intern events throughout the internship.
Advice
Reach out and talk to people in your team and out of your team! Expanding your lattice is really important. I received great professional development here and 90% of it was through meeting with people in and out of my team and learning more about everyone’s roles and the business as a whole.

Industrial Engineering Intern
June - August 2020 • Elkton, MD
What I liked
Company culture and flexibility to work virtually given pandemic situations.
What I wish was different
To have received more on hands experience with their processes and how they manage data. Had I been able to receive some more hands on experience, even virtually, I would have been a better candidate for a full time position with them or other companies.
Advice
Take advantage at any networking opportunities you have, be sure to ask lots of questions and learn as much as you can while also applying your own skills and knowledge.

What I liked
I was given a project which allowed me to practice my engineering skills. I had lots of support when it was needed, with enough freedom to do it on my own. I really like the culture, the responsibility, and the people I was working with.
What I wish was different
Honestly, nothing. It was clear to me that the company has invested a lot of resources into refining the internship experience, and I encountered no problems during my time there.
Advice
Be inquisitive, and dont be afraid to reach out to others if you need help or resources. Everyone there is very friendly and willing to help. These interactions also provide a good opportunity to learn about different commitments around the company.
