The Office of Recreational Services strives to enhance the human condition with a focus on health and well-being by providing impactful programs and services that enrich student learning as well as The University of Toledo community.

*All UToledo Rec employees must be American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) & First Aid Certified. BLS includes CPR & AED. BLS & FIRST AID ARE NOT REQUIRED TO APPLY BUT MUST BE OBTAINED PRIOR TO WORKING FIRST SHIFT.

“I worked as a lifeguard over in the summer at the Recreational Center at the University of Toledo. We working in junction with the Kids Camp over the summer. I liked working with kids, understanding the different roles of camp counsellors, student specialists and event coordinators.”
