What I liked
This was an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in my field! I mainly performed water and soil sampling and analysis, in order to learn about the role of wetlands as filters for Lake Erie, but I also assisted in boat work, lab work, and data management. Additionally, the hours were ideal for my schedule, as a student, and the work environment was very pleasant!
