USU Ticket Operations

Ticket Cashier / Customer Service

August 2021 • Logan, UT

What I liked

It is a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment. The environment makes work very enjoyable and overall a great experience in the ticket office.

What I wish was different

I wish there were more office hours available during the school year. (But this job does work super well with your class schedule and being a full-time student) However, you get lots of opportunities to pick up shifts from other co-workers as well as picking up arts & athletic events. There will be plenty of shifts to pick up, do not be afraid to pick them up! Picking up shifts and going the extra mile can create an increased chance of getting a pay raise!

Advice

Do not be afraid to learn! Ask questions... (Questions are not a bad thing) All co-workers and bosses are willing to answer any questions and teach you in order to help you learn and improve.

What I liked

It is a simple, laid back job. Game Days are the crazy days and you usually have to work on Saturdays.

What I wish was different

They a lot of people so sometimes there is not a lot of work in the summer and school year.

Advice

I would say take your timing in selling tickets so you do not get anything wrong.
