Student orientation Leader

What I liked
I absolutely loved the culture of the office. I loved meeting so many people. And I loved helping students try to see their potential and know the resources of the campus, and understand how to be successful in college.
What I wish was different
I wish I knew how much I was going to get out of it from the start.
Advice
Do it! It is such a Goode experience. And expect to get just as much out of it as you put into it.

A-Team

What I liked
I loved being able to see a difference we made in the incoming student's excitement. I also enjoyed the feeling of being a mentor and being able to help someone who is looking for answers. The A-Team family was amazing as well and it was so inspiring to hear each of their stories throughout the year.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have let myself get more connected with other A-Teamers. Due to the fact that it was my senior year, I tried to keep my distance because I didn't want to have too hard of a goodbye when it came to it.
Advice
Be yourself and don't stop applying or feel discouraged if you don't make it the first time.
