What I liked
I loved working with Jordy, Jim, and Alexi. They were a fun team and planned projects to help learn about sustainability and help me develop skills with GIS, AutoCAD, the Adobe Suite for planning.
What I wish was different
I didn’t get to collaborate with the coworkers in office as much as I would’ve liked due to COVID shutdowns. However, they were very good at involving me over zoom when necessary.
Advice
Since the position is split between 2 employers, it is important to know how to manage and balance time well.

I liked that it had a good balance of working alone and with someone. It was a relaxed job.
What I wish was different
The hours. I had a 5-9am shift. It was easier than I thought but I would like a shift that was a little later in the morning.

Always a positive atmosphere, while cleaning you can plug in your headphones, jobs were easy to learn and everyone's always friendly.

What I liked
The work is easy and relaxed. Great co-workers and supervisor. The work can be pretty routine, but I liked keeping an eye out for a quick something extra/different to clean each day. Also, you can listen to music while you work. Positive experience all around.

Just stick with it. It can be hard to adjust to the schedule but it get better fast.

What I liked
Working with amazing people who became great friends, and sharing in the crazy adventures we had. It also was nice to be able to work longer hours in the summer so I could save up more for Fall semester. The work isn't too difficult and I love the easy-going management.
What I wish was different
I wish there had been more big projects rather than just the same cleaning jobs over and over. Maybe some more deep cleaning stuff that would take more than just an hour or so? It is a custodian job, but I still like my work to be fulfilling.
Advice
Don't be afraid of the hours. :) Yes it's early (or late), but your body adjusts. You become pretty close with the crew you work with and it makes the time fly by so quickly. This is definitely a great job!!

The work was hard. Not a lot of training going on. so if you are good at trimming that is what you are going to be doing every day instead of mowing lawns.

The hours weren't optimal, I was working quite late in the evening.

Make sure you are prepared for the hours especially if you plan on continuing work after summer is over.
