What I liked

Working at USSC has been the best work experience I have had so far. Although my position was in supply chain, I worked with people in almost every department in the company. Everyone I worked with seemed to genuinely enjoy coming to work and the positive attitude in the office was contagious. I would absolutely recommend working at USSC and I am very happy I was able to complete my first internship there.

What I wish was different

I wish I had lived closer to the intership.

Advice

I would advise people to soak up every bit of information you can get. Most of the important things I did at the company were not taught in college courses.

What I liked

Great place to work, great coworkers and management. Lots of employee accommodation, very respectful and welcoming environment.

What I wish was different

I wish I was integrated into more industry-specific work sooner in my internship, but it's understandable that some time was needed to get me settled in the work place. My time on the production floor was almost entirely spent at one station for multiple weeks, I would have liked to be able to help in a variety of places for the learning experience. This is fine though, I was only on the production floor for a few weeks.
