What I liked
The opportunity to work on one of the United States' four Megaprojects was incredible. The team I worked with was phenomenal and I could not have had an opportunity like this anywhere else. I was able to be on site and helping out rather than stuck behind a desk all summer.
What I wish was different
A different location would have been nicer but I would not have been able to have the same kind of experience that I did this summer.
Advice
Don't pass up an opportunity like this. Put yourself out there and make yourself part of the team. Don't be afraid to ask questions and share ideas - you are a fresh set of eyes.
