“I really liked how the therapy department was run at the hospital and how clear communication was between disciplines of OT, PT and SLP. As a student, I never felt pressured to begin something that I did not feel comfortable doing, however my supervisor challenged me to the "just-right challenge" so that I could succeed. My direct supervisor gave me the perfect amount of supervision as I refined my skills as an occupational therapy student. I was given ample opportunities to expand my knowledge and learning by observing surgeries and observing a physical therapist in a NICU setting. All of the therapists at UPMC Pinnacle were always willing to advance my learning by including me in their daily work endeavors. ”
