I loved having the opportunity to learn firsthand what the research process is like. It took up a lot of hours with successes and failures, but it was an amazing experience. I am grateful because it gave me a good idea of what a Ph.D. program would be like working as a graduate assistant.
What I wish was different
Besides the obvious fact that unfortunately, the program had to be conducted online, the Rackham Graduate School did an amazing job making the program impactful and worthwhile.
Advice
To any students who participate in U of M's SROP program in the future, fully put yourself into the research and the experience of researching. It is a once and a lifetime opportunity that gives you transferable skills and helps you decide what kind of grad school program you want to pursue.

What I liked
I enjoyed the the amount of work that I responsible for because it replicated the workload that I would have to do as a graduate student. Also, the work that I was working on is important, so I felt driven to complete the work to the best of my ability.
What I wish was different
There isn't much that I would've wanted to change.
Advice
The most important piece of advice I could give is to prepare to work long hours. The work can be frustrating but never give up because of the difficulty.
