Marketing Intern
September - December 2021 • Tampa, FL
What I liked
I really enjoyed the support I received from my supervisors and her supervisors, I felt as if any questions I had were answered and they provided ample resources and information for me to fulfill my duties well.
What I wish was different
I wish I had spent more time being personable. I spent so much time trying to do a "good job" that I downplayed and almost forgot about networking and being the people person that I am.
Advice
I would say for anyone working at Avatar as an intern, you're just as valuable as others in different departments. They have no idea how to do your job, you are an expert, don't downplay your position, they are your equals not your superiors.
