I loved gaining real life experience into the legal field. It solidified my choice of pursuing law school following graduation.
What I wish was different
I wish interns were paid and not limited to working in one specific unit in order to get a feel for the various responsibilities the U.S Attorneys Office handles.
Advice
Don’t let the fact your are “unpaid” discourage you. Although it was unpaid, I was able to build my connections and expand my network. As a result of time in the office I then received a paid position!
