It was an incredible experience to work with a federal judge, I think my favorite part was the amount of court time I got- every time Judge presided in court I got to watch the proceedings
What I wish was different
Unfortunately I had to leave my job fairly early due to some health issues, so all I wish to to different was that I was healthy enough to continue the internship
Advice
This internship was a great experience, but it’s an unpaid internship. The hours you get working in the courthouse and working with a federal judge are definitely worth it, but if you’re looking for pay you’ll need to look somewhere else.
