I witnessed how the teachers work with the hard of hearing children and also, through filing paperwork, received a glimpse into the progress of patients through years of treatment. I appreciated being educated in social issues surrounding deaf and hard of hearing children. I also enjoyed the cooperative atmosphere at CHS.
What I wish was different
I was pretty happy with my experience and can't think of anything at the moment that I wish would have been different.

Volunteering is an easy way to get experience in your future career area (and can warn you ahead of time if it isn't going to work out).
