During my internship, I really enjoyed having the autonomy to create content that I enjoy as well as having the ability to voice my own opinion about what strategies may or may not work. This opportunity strengthened my skills across multiple platforms and encouraged me to do my own research as a social media marketer. Marnie & Stephanie were excellent hosts, mentors and guides throughout this process. I greatly appreciated their patience and support as they watched me improve over time.
What I wish was different
Advice
This internship is truly what you make of it. It is important to be self-driven, motivated and confident in your own work otherwise it can be easy to fall into the same repetitive regimen. Remember that you're being recruited to bring your own insights, knowledge and ultimately help grow the podcast, NOT just create content. Putting in that extra effort will be inherently more beneficial for both you and the company.

What I liked
I had a wonderful time working with Marnie and Stephanie. They are organized and very thorough on what they want completed. I grew my skill set with this company in many ways, they gave me to confidence to not be afraid to bring up my own ideas, thoughts and concerns, and they let me build my own path while working with them.
What I wish was different
Advice
I recommend going above and beyond when working with this company. I believe I grew a lot when I pushed myself to new ideas and doing extra work outside of what I was assigned. Later on I was able to take quiet a few graphics I made and add them to my own portfolio that I'm continuing to build.

What I liked
This internship was a perfect way to get hands-on experience creating social media graphics on Canva. It allowed me to further my skills in social media marketing as well as time-management and organization. Stephanie and Marnie are amazing mentors and were always there to answer questions and problem solve.
